PRODUCTION/TECHNICAL DESIGN INTERNSHIP

Doo.Ri is seeking highly motivated interns to assist the Production department. Ideal candidates should be incredibly organized, proactive multi-taskers with a “can do” attitude.

Responsibilities Include:
-Assist during fittings
-Communicating fit comments/pattern changes to pattern maker
-Creating tech packs
-Working with local vendors/facilities to create embroideries, custom pieces, etc...
-Local sourcing/counter sourcing
-Working with domestic factories to facilitate production efforts
-Communicating with the design team to achieve desired vision/results
-Administrative duties
-Available for a minimum of 3 days a week preferred
-Excellent writing, communication and research skills

We are looking for a Public Relations intern for the SPRING semester that is available to start as soon as possible. Applicants should be extremely detail oriented, hard working, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and enthusiastic about the industry, helping out with our brands some of which include Versace, YSL, Acne, and Proenza Schouler.

Responsibilities include helping with New York Fashion Week 2012, organizing samples, gathering press clippings, general administrative tasks, preparing look book and other press or gift mailings, working with account managers and getting a basic understanding of the fashion public relations industry.

We are looking for candidates with prior fashion intern experience, available to work 3-5 days a week. Though this internship is unpaid, school credit is available and valuable experience and knowledge will be gained.

Fashion & Lifestyle PR SPRING 2012 Internship
Exposure is an integrated communications agency looking for hardworking, enthusiastic interns that are eager to learn the inner workings of PR across the fashion and lifestyle industries.

Candidates must have great interpersonal and phone skills, be able to adapt to a fast paced working environment, be outgoing and enthusiastic, have a basic understanding of communications and the desire to learn more about the industry. Knowledge of Word, Excel and Photoshop are required.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Administration duties (updating database, contact lists, upcoming press lists, showroom appointment list, monthly reports, scanning, etc.)
– Organizing and maintaining showroom and product closets
– Sample trafficking – use Fashion GPS to log all products, apparel, accessories, footwear in and out to media
– Fulfilling press requests, pitching products and ideas to media
– Attending and supporting all agency events as directed
– Work with account teams for all product and sample mailings

Candidates must be able to work 3-4 days per week for immediate start – will offer college credit.

Fashion Stylist Spring Intern
Internship Goal:
To assist Stylists and Stylist Assistant with efforts related to the day to day activities and promotion of Style Made Simple private styling services.
To assist with Style Made Simple clients in shopping and fitting activities.
To assist on photo shoots from pre-production to on set.
To help grow social media and promotional efforts.
Research and comment on relevant blogs, Facebook and Twitter.
Research, compile and assemble inspirational mood boards.

2-3 days p/week time commitment. Flexibility is a major plus. Looking for someone especially on Thursdays!

Duties may include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with store and showroom pulls
Assisting with client fittings by quickly and efficiently helping to change outfits, keep clothes organized and search for filler items.
Assisting with making and photographing outfits for client look books.
Making and confirming appointments.
Compiling online photos and layout in pdf formats for mood boards and other client communication.
Online research of social media, blog, designers, stores, market trends.
Blog posting on company Tumblr. Proficiency in social media a huge plus (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, blogs)
