Modellounge NY is seeking interns who can begin immediately - to assist with Fashion Week preparation, execution and more. Modellounge is a private and daily retreat for female fashion models signed to the top 10 modeling agencies in New York. Modellounge offers models an exclusive destination where they can spend time between daily castings and appointments, Monday - Friday, 11am - 5pm.

Interns must be available 2 - 5 days a week (for a minimum 3 - 5 months). PROFESSIONALISM IS A MUST! A site dedicated to women\'s fashion, beauty, and entertainment, ChiqForHer.com is looking to expand its team of bloggers! We are looking for two young bloggers, preferably who live in Manhattan and who are attending college. You must know your way around NY and have a keen eye for fashion trends and the latest beauty products. Applicants will need to have their OWN CAMERA as well! Our internship runs for 2 months with the possibility of full-time staffing. For those of you in class we will be flexible around your schedule. LOOKING FOR INTERNS WHO CAN INTERVIEW TO START FEBRUARY 1ST!

Job Description:

•Coordinate and help out with projects in several departments at the showroom
o Includes word processing, data entry and internet research tasks.
•Performs basic clerical tasks. Operates basic office equipment.
•Assist in maintaining showroom area
• Filling in for Receptionist for part of the day to answer phones, receive shipments, and greet clients
•Entering Sales orders and updating open to sell reports
• Help maintain the Tibi visual ideal through product knowledge, merchandising, stock replenishment, and product presentation.
•Assisting with Sales appointments:
• Arranging clothing line in showroom
• Steaming clothing in preparation before appointments
• Helping models try on styles to show clients
•Assist in logging clothing samples
•Assist in setting up and helping out at different PR events including fashion week
•Support upkeep in various reports

Job Qualifications: Candidate must be well spoken and energetic. Candidate must also be extremely well organized, have the ability to multi-task and follow direction well. They will fulfill several important administrative duties in the office. Furthermore, the candidate should be motivated and driven to complete any tasks and projects assigned. Requires strong communication and wide-ranging software skills and some financial, human resource and management knowledge.
Experience in the fashion industry, preferred.

This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet in all areas that make up a great fashion company. This is an unpaid internship but you may arrange to receive school credit and/or a $20 a day Tibi clothing allowance. We are currently seeking 2 interns to assist the Sales and Merchandising teams for Bindya New York

About us:
We are a small, fast-paced hand on office with a great atmosphere.

Internship candidates must be available immediately and be able to commit to a 2-3 month period. We will consider both full and part-time applicants. Internship is unpaid but there is a potential for employment, and the experienced gained is invaluable.

Proposed Work Schedule:
• 2 to 4 days a week – 20+ hours per week

Responsibilities Include:
• Updating and maintaining excel spreadsheets
• Assistance in sample and stock organization
• Assistance in processing online orders and customer service
• Provide office support and assist administrative duties of sales team and department executives

Requirements:
• E-commerce experience is a big plus!
• An interest and understanding of fashion trends and business cycles
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to work with a team and to think independently
• Must be professional, enthusiastic and organized

International Sales Intern

Nicole Miller is looking for interns to work during the Fall 2012 sales campaign (February - April) to help support our international sales department!

You must be upbeat, punctual, organized and must have a passion for fashion!

You must have strong oral and written communication skills, and knowledge of a second language would be preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a must.

We are looking for at minimum 3 days a week commitment starting February, March, April and applicants who can apply for school credit will take precedence.
